Running for a Cause

I'm really proud of myself. Yesterday I participated in the 13th Annual Sharon's Ride, Run, Walk for Epilepsy. Running three miles made me feel accomplished. Running for my sister and everyone else who has epilepsy made me feel amazing.

Obsessed with Pink

Going to the outlet mall is never a good idea for me. In fact I should be banned from that evil place but I go there anyways just to torture myself. I scored myself some cute belts from Banana Republic and feeling good, I strolled into Micheal Kors where they had this beautiful ostrich embossed handbag in hot pink. And now all I do is think, drool, and dream about it.

Huge Deals at Rite Aid

I'm not sure why but right when I told myself to stop buying make up...there's a gigantic sale no one told me about. I just happened to stumble upon it and went a little crazy. Of course I'll be posting pictures of what I bought but first I want to list all the markdowns so you can get them too.

Yes I was that lady pulling out her iPhone pretending to be texting but was actually taking pictures. Now remember you can always add your coupons and make the price even lower. For example I bought the Maybelline baked eye shadows half off, used the video value reward ($1.50) making it only $2.15. It retails for $7.29.

Anyone getting anything or is it just me?

Prisma Chrome Eye Shadow

I can't believe it's already April. It was gloomy all morning so I went out with my mom for a wonderful pick me up. We went to Sephora since she had to return something anyways and I just couldn't resist buying the new Prisma Chrome Eye Shadows. These babies are so pigmented and smooth and just look at the design! Swoon.

Here's what the site says:

My mother thought I was crazy that I picked Emerald Facet and normally I would agree with her. I usually play it safe with my make up but this is a new year remember? It's all about trying something different and having fun.

It comes in a very sleek and portable black case with a small mirror. I love the innovative wave eye shadow design thing they got going on. I think that's what attracted me to it.

And this is what I came up with. I wanted to do something more dramatic but I can also use this shadow for a light smokey eye for daytime.

I also added a coral lipstick as a nod to the new season.

I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer, Physicians Formula gel eye liner, and NYX eye shadow for the base and highlighter. 

Final Verdict:
I'm buying more. These are buttery soft and the colors just blow my mind. They are so pretty on my vanity too.
