Free Lex Cosmetic Nail Polish!

I already love this nail polish company. Lex Cosmetics is a nail brand that I've only recently heard about but part of their proceeds go to different charities depending on the nail polish you choose. Each nail polish has a story behind it and to me, that's just awesome. They are free of formaldehyde. DBP, and toluene.

Now the prices are a bit steep, $10 for one. But right now you can get them free with free shipping!

I happened to be browsing through Sneakpeeq (referral) which is an amazing site all on its own and they are having Lex nail polishes on sale! If you use my link you also get a $10 credit making the nail polish of your choice free!

They have already sold out on several colors so get them as fast as you can.

Milani Multitasker Face Powder

I've just started incorporating face powders into my make up routine mainly because I have combination skin and my t-zone is always a hot slippery mess. It's awful in the summer and I live in a pretty warm climate.

Now what I look for in a powder is simple. I just want it to control oil, go on smooth, and not look heavy or cakey on my face.

I tested the new Milani Multitasker Face Powder in light medium.

The compact itself is huge. I wouldn't say it's travel friendly but I can always depot it and place it in my z-pallet.

It's the design that gets me every time. I kept thinking to myself that I didn't want to ruin it!

The compact has a bottom compartment which holds a decent sized powder sponge and a mirror.

The powder is so smooth to the touch and goes on easily. It controls my t-zone for about 3-4  hours before I have to blot which isn't too bad. It looks natural on too which I love.

However on the back of the product Milani says it doesn't cake but I have tried to layer it and it does get cakey. So be careful and use a light hand.

I think I found the perfect way for me to place it on my face. If I put the powder on right after I put on foundation, I get these really weird dry spots. So I wait 1-2 minutes before applying and instead of swiping it, I dab it on. That way I'm not taking anything off my face or smearing what's underneath.

Overall I like it. I would probably buy this again but it's not my HG. I actually found one I love and will be blogging about it soon.

Revlon Sheer Seafoam Nail Polish

I think I've always been attracted to pastel colors and I'm pretty pleased that it's still going strong this summer. I instantly gravitated toward the new Revlon nail polishes.

Sheer Seafoam is exactly as the name says. It's purely sheer.

It took 5 coats for anything to show up. I'm not kidding. The only thing making me keep this nail polish is to use it as a jelly sandwich.

Overall I wouldn't buy it again...

CVS Sales, Zoya Nail Polish, and Updates

CVS is having another big sale on select items. We're talking about 50-75% off so it's a good time to stock up. One of my favorite daily deal sites is Nouveau Cheap and she has an updated list posted on her site with all the details. I manged to sneak off to my CVS and capture some of the deals on my phone.

Zoya is having a great offer right now for those of you who didn't catch the free mini trios they gave away a couple days ago. You can choose any three nail polishes from their new Summer 2012 Beach and Surf Collection for $15 and get free shipping! Each nail polish usually costs $8 and shipping is $6.95 so it's a great bargain in my opinion.

Lastly thanks for everyone who's been reading my nonsense and sticking with me. I really appreciate everyone. I love you all!
